Whiplash Explained

Whiplash is a common term used to describe an injury to the spine during an abrupt change in direction of the body (commonly found in car accidents).  Symptoms can often be delayed, however commonly present as:

  • Stiffness
  • Headaches
  • Pain
  • Fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Numbness
  • Difficulty with memory

If you've been involved in a whiplash injury, it is important to consult you GP as a precautionary measure.
